Indeed, the Michigan Challenge Balloonfest is a celebration of hot air balloons. But wait, there’s more! The event features entertainment, fireworks, family activities and attractions.
Balloon Glow & More!
The Saturday night balloon glow is a must-see attraction at the Michigan Challenge. About 20 hot-air balloons will inflate on the launch field and glow their envelopes against the beautiful summer night sky.
Volunteers
We are looking for Volunteers, and to thank you for your participation, we will donate to the non-profit organization of your choice. If you would like to volunteer, please keep a look out for our updated Volunteer form coming soon!

Daily admission: $5.00 per person
Weekend wristband: $10.00 per person
Under 3 years of age: FREE
Sunday ONLY: Veterans with Military ID admitted free

- Balloonfest grounds – Highlander way, located by Yellow Gate and Challenger by Red parking lot.
- Downtown Howell – Clinton at State St. (behind County Courthouse)
